Rosa Barba

Composition in Field is a kinetic sculpture using film. Woven around a metallic frame and lit from behind by a lightbox, letters on the otherwise transparent film stock produce a continuously changing script.

The text is based on Charles Olson's manifesto "Projective Verse" first published in 1950.
